Thanks, Tena and Tim for joining me today. I must say that I love the idea of "Booger Boogie." I have no children, but I very much like a child to school and many other children who have dropped some serious problems with snot-nosed. I am sure that your book will fill a need for parents and teachers.

Tyler: Tena, I know you've had a lot ofSuccess in other multimedia. What prompted you to get involved with writing for children?

Tena: I felt it was time to return to the world. With over twenty years of experience in creative management are confident of being able to present my success with "The Playdate Kids" on repeat, and I'm excited to be part of something that will improve the lives of children everywhere.

Tyler: Tena, you tell us a bit 'where you get the ideafor the book?

Tena: My girlfriend is a third teacher, and she told her students how to get your nose in class. So I came up with a fun way to teach a lesson on personal hygiene, "Booger Boogie." "The Booger Boogie" is the physical act of grabbing a tissue.

Tyler: Tim, I know you're a talented musician, both as composer and performer. You play the clarinet and guitar, and you are a voiceover artist, but some of your musical accomplishments name. With such awide range of talents, what prompted you to write music for kids?

Tim: My work with Tena "The Playdate Kids" was a happy coincidence. As an artist, I'm still learning how to search for new opportunities and new ways to order. Some years ago I had a great chance of Tena to get their hands on a couple of songs in which children experience and the results were surprising.

Tyler: What is it about the music, do you think is an effective way to teach children?

Tena brings levity to the music lesson andRemember it makes the text easier. Children are once again the lesson over and over in their minds, singing the lyrics so that the lessons stick.

Tim: The beauty of music is that there are no age limits. Through music we can teach and pass on the lessons in a way that is easy to understand. It 'hard to teach a child to his sneeze, but she got into a rhythm and a song with a melody very large and it is easier and more enjoyable.

Tyler: Iunderstand "Booger Boogie" the third book, The Playdate Kids "series. Can you tell us a bit 'on the other two books?

Tim: The other two books are "I Like Me" that deal with issues of body and positive self-esteem and "Iceland Potty Party", which help to teach potty training.

Tyler: What reactions have received from parents, teachers, or children about the "Booger Boogie"?

Tim: I'm the first reaction is "gross" or a nervous laugh. But oncewho have seen the book and heard the singing of the responses were great. A lot of people have noticed how easily and effectively "Booger Boogie" lesson in reality. Just take a tissue and blow!

Tena: A Los Angeles Festival of Books last month we had the opportunity to interact with hundreds of parents and children. The parents thought it was funny and the kids liked the colorful pages and catchy jazz.

Tyler: The reviewer of "The Playdate Kids: Boogie "by Reader Views says here that CD in and share their children aged between one and three, and started dancing immediately catchy lyrics. Booger Tena that most of you share with us to find some of children?

Tena: Trust is built is based on the confirmation of something, the German translation (not dry on the couch, do not put in the mouth), the children find appealing. How do I see their faces I see a glimmer of independence, how to sing or to read thisSong>, probably because their parents have said to her, and are familiar with the rules of hygiene.

Tyler: any of you have children yourself and what have their reactions to the book?

Tena: I personally do not have kids, but I'm just a big guy himself. I love playing, reading, and the company of children. Above all, I like what you have to tell the children. They are the essence of this planet.

Tyler: What future will see the lessons"The negotiation Playdate Kids' with other children?

Tena: The goal of "The Playdate Kids" is to convey to young children today, to love itself, a good friend to help others, be kind, and that they are never alone, because everyone has the same experiences life .. . These qualities are all nice to have and share.
