During an observation school teachers in first grade music class before I recently the phenomenon of school singing a poem could be beaten and asked whether the addition of a melody in poetry. When the teacher asked comprehension questions about poetry before you add the melody, the students were general answers. If the same questions after you add a melody to poetry and song, was asked students' reactions have been more accurate. Often sang their responses. Add melody,The words seemed to help ingrained in their memory, the sense of poetry. Perhaps it was the simultaneous effect of left and right side of the brain, reminding the students learn more from the poem, helped by a melody.
This observation reminds me of my own music teaching in elementary and frequency with which I add songs to poems, songs like, and stories, students remember key educational issues. Many times, teachersI would say that, as students sang songs in fifty states, mathematical concepts, historical facts, rhyming words, etc., were their students more successful in memory, and having regard to such information. Students seemed to grasp and retain more when information learned through the medium of music entertainment.
It is common for students to remember my old music, I see at the supermarket or a restaurant and they tell me that even many years later, the texts the songs of education they had learned in their elementary music classes. Many students were able to recall that we added to the classic melodies and lyrics and have an immediate recall of both the lyrics and the melody even 20 years later.
Certainly, combining music and text has the great merit and improves the academic performance of students. Singable lyrics coupled with catchy melodies can stimulate education and help the child's memory retention> Song content. This is the main objective of Silly Bus and educational wrote and recorded songs for children. For children in preschool and kindergarten, the songs are a fun way, etc. to teach children basic concepts such as colors, numbers, alphabet, months of the year
How do we know if your child has learned a concept introduced in a song? After the child heard the song several times, play the song again and invite him or her to feelattention to key phrases and repeating sections of a song. history that children say the information in a song and share all remember the song. Teachers and parents can then evaluate what is learned and making up the child, the child in the discovery and study of the relationship between the new learning experiences and knowledge current. The movement is also evaluated and enhanced the learning experience to add words to a melody.Kinesthetic learning through movement is a natural way to bring the child to music and understand the information provided in the texts. The movement of the child, parents and teachers can see and assess understanding and knowledge of the child from a song.
